Danielle Tourigny’s BioDanielle Tourigny was born and raised in Biddeford, Maine. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston. She spent some time working in sleep research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before deciding to return home to Maine. Danielle gained hands-on clinical experience working as an ophthalmic technician for 2 years before starting a Master’s of Physician Assistant studies at the University of New England.
After completing PA training, Danielle spent three years working in emergency medicine in Lewiston, followed by four years as the lead provider at a local urgent care center. Along the way, she developed a broad clinical skill set and discovered a growing passion for urology, drawn to the specialty’s mix of procedural work, problem-solving, and long-term patient relationships.
When not in the clinic, Danielle can usually be found hiking or backpacking around Maine, creating art, reading, or tackling the next home renovation project. She lives with her fiancé and their husky/lab mix, Moose. Together they love exploring Maine’s coastline and soaking up everything the state has to offer!
